To say I'm excited about this digital pattern is an understatement. My method of sewing is usually creating things as I go, and I have made innumerable patterns of original designs throughout the years. For a long time I've wanted to offer my patterns for sale and at last I've had the time and fortitude to get the ball in motion.
These darling cinnamon stick trees make lovely, rustic ornaments on a Christmas tree, or strewn together as garland. If you sew them without the ribbon at top, you have a perfect tree for imaginative play. Wouldn't this fit perfectly in a fairy garden?
This digital pattern is definitely accessible for beginner sewers and includes a printable pattern that prints out on your home computer. There are detailed photos to walk you through the process as well.
My offering this pattern also coincides with a farewell to the business name of Sew Sew Sew Your Boat. I'll now be offering my sewn products and digital patterns for sale at https://www.etsy.com/shop/CharlotteKaufmanShop.
While I loved the name Sew Sew Sew Your Boat, I do marine work infrequently now and I wanted to use a site name that was more encompassing. If you followed my Facebook page, I've updated the name there too: https://www.facebook.com/charlottekaufmandotcom.
If you buy this pattern and make some trees, please share the photos with me! I'd love to see what fabrics you use and your creations. Likewise, this is my first foray into the digital patterns so if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask: email@example.com.
